1
00:00:00,140 --> 00:00:02,460
Dr. Black, the untold story.

2
00:00:02,760 --> 00:00:04,360
Love him or hate him, Dr.

3
00:00:04,620 --> 00:00:08,840
Thaddeus Black is one of the most
notorious personalities Slugterra has

4
00:00:08,840 --> 00:00:13,840
ever seen. As a young man, he dreamed of
becoming a top slug slinger. He was

5
00:00:13,840 --> 00:00:17,180
known to bite dirty and would do
anything to win, even cheat.

6
00:00:17,420 --> 00:00:21,740
His slugs didn't like that, and neither
did his greatest rival, Will Shane.

7
00:00:22,300 --> 00:00:24,060
Finally, someone stepped up to keep Dr.

8
00:00:24,260 --> 00:00:25,260
Black in check.

9
00:00:25,740 --> 00:00:27,000
Until he disappeared.

10
00:00:27,610 --> 00:00:31,970
Dr. Black retired from slug-slinging
unrivaled and turned his focus to

11
00:00:31,970 --> 00:00:32,970
science and industry.

12
00:00:33,190 --> 00:00:37,310
He took a broken-down railway system and
transformed it into the Slug-Terran

13
00:00:37,310 --> 00:00:41,170
Express, a vast network of
lightning-fast trains connecting all but

14
00:00:41,170 --> 00:00:45,550
the most remote caverns. The Express
made him rich, but Black still wanted

15
00:00:45,550 --> 00:00:50,730
more. His new goal would be to control
all of Slug-Terra, and he created ghouls

16
00:00:50,730 --> 00:00:52,790
to help him do it. That's where we come
in.

17
00:00:53,200 --> 00:00:57,940
The Shane Gang have vowed to protect
Bugterra and will stop at nothing to

18
00:00:57,940 --> 00:00:59,940
make sure Black and his allies fail.
